why i may never write a book

whenever i think of writing one, these scenarios flash past my mind:
what if my book turns out to be a masterpiece
what if it's unputdownable
what if it consumes 5 hours of a man's life
what if it becomes a best seller
what if a billion people were to queue up to read it
what if a billion people were to spend 5 hours each, digesting it
what if my book were to waste 5-billion man hours of this planet
what if this time had been employed to build a new city
what if this gives me a huge guilt pang...
not worth it, right?
